UNLEASH THEIR CREATIVITY!
At Spruill Center for the Arts, we are proud to offer a wide array of art camps for kids and teens – both during the summer and over other school breaks.
Registration Open
Registration is now open for Summer Camp 2026 and Spring Break Camp 2026 (April 6-10).
SUMMER CAMPS
Spruill offers summer art camps for kids, teens, and pre-teens.
Registration is now open for Summer Camp 2026.
Art Camps for Kids (Ages 5-10):
Our art camps for kids ages 5-10 center around different themes each session (ex: “Deep Sea Adventure” or “Space Odyssey”), around which different crafts and art projects will be completed. At the end of the session, each camper will have a portfolio full of amazing art projects to display! Campers will have class with one dedicated instructor in the morning, break for lunch and outdoor time, then have class with another skilled instructor in the afternoon, ensuring a dynamic and enriching experience. These camps run from 9:30 AM – 3:00 PM, and before- and after-care are also offered to provide additional flexibility.
Studio Art Camps for Teens and Preteens (Ages 11-14):
Our studio art camps for teens and preteens will challenge campers to learn and strengthen their skills in a specific artistic medium. Camps are offered for jewelry-making, film production, sewing, and more! Each session is led by professional teaching artists who will provide opportunities for campers to experiment and refine techniques in specific disciplines. These camps, like those for ages 5-10 run from 9:30 AM – 3:00 PM with additional options for before- and after-care.
Teen Art Intensives (Ages 14-18):
Our teen art intensives, similar to our studio art camps, offer older campers the opportunity to dive deep into a specific artistic medium – such as mosaic creation, fused glass, or jewelry-making. Unlike our camps for younger students, our teen art intensives operate on their own schedule, typically running for a few hours each day rather than for full days.
